Introduction
I am currently a Research Collaborator at Meta Platforms, Inc. and am about to obtain my Ph.D. in Computer Science, luckily advised by Dr. Bo Han. Before that, I earned my B.S. degree in Computer Science in 2021.
My industry and research experience has primarily been at the intersection of systems, networking, and machine learning. Over the past few years, I have focused on building learning-based streaming and communication systems, particularly for real-time and interactive applications. At Meta, I have been working on transport- and application-layer networking to improve quality of experience (QoE) for real-time communication (RTC) at scale, supporting both human-to-human and human–GenAI calling in Meta products. During my PhD, I mainly worked on real-time immersive video streaming systems for mobile XR headsets. I also have research experience in ML systems, security and privacy, and user experience analysis.
As of March 2026, I have published 24 papers, including 13 in top conferences (per CSRankings), with a total of 901 citations. Of these, 12 are first-author papers, including 7 in top conferences, with 804 citations. I received the Best Paper Award from IEEE MetaBuild 2022 and the Best Paper Runner-up Award from ACM SenSys 2024, both as first author.
