Introduction
I am currently a Research Collaborator at Meta Platforms, Inc. and am about to obtain my Ph.D. in Computer Science, luckily advised by Dr. Bo Han. Before that, I earned my B.S. degree in Computer Science in 2021.
My current research focuses on building reliable, large-scale, learning-based, real-time communication systems for emerging paradigms such as human–GenAI interaction and immersive telepresence. At Meta, I work on building next-generation network infrastructure for all of Meta’s real-time audio/video calling applications, such as WhatsApp and Instagram, supporting both human-to-human and human-to-GenAI calls that serve billions of active users worldwide. During my Ph.D., I have focused on enhancing utility, efficiency, user experience, and security & privacy in mobile augmented, virtual, and mixed reality (AR/VR/MR) systems.
As of December 2025, I have published 20 papers, including 12 in top conferences (per CSRankings), with a total of 809 citations. Of these, 11 are first-author papers, including six in top conferences, with 734 citations. I received the Best Paper Award from IEEE MetaBuild 2022 and the Best Paper Runner-up Award from ACM SenSys 2024.
